You quickly start to lose hope in finding the job of your dreams. After turning into a serial applicant, applying for everything and anything, you find yourself changing your resume and removing your impressive international experiences to fit into roles where you would otherwise be considered overqualified. And in an instant, your quest to finding your “dream” job and building your “dream” career in this new country has turned into a nightmare forcing you to settle for anything.

As an international professional seeking for a new opportunity in my field of work in a new country, I experienced the same struggles and self doubt. I felt undervalued and unrecognized for all my past accomplishments and my years of education. But in my time of despair, I remembered this quote:

“Your value doesn’t decrease based on someone’s inability to see your worth”. 

I still wanted to believe that I was valuable and that I had something unique to offer to my future employer. So I started to think about approaching the job market differently. I tested and tried a combination of strategies and eventually landed on the one that got me my dream job! Through my journey, I realized that many women with an international background, experience the same struggles and I wanted to help. I became a Certified Coach and with my HR background and experience, I now help women just like you to pursue their career aspirations.
